Discover The Stack and Tilt Golf Swing

The “stack and tilt” golf swing is a relatively new or modern swing that is gaining popularity. I must admit that I have never tried it, probably because I am old school and don’t want to mess with my swing that took so many years to perfect. If you are just starting out or if you are not happy with your traditional swing, then here is an overview of the Stack and Tilt golf swing so that you can decide if you want to try it out.

The Stack and Tilt golf swing was developed by swing instructors Andy Plummer and Mike Bennett after 20 years of research. The Stack & Tilt has been described as a revolutionary golf swing that keeps your weight stacked over the ball for pure contact shot after shot. There are other golf swing gurus, though, who don’t advocate changing over to it.

Today, more than 20 PGA pros are using the Stack and Tilt golf swing including the likes of Aaron Baddeley and Mike Weir. I suppose as more well known pros start using this swing, then more golf instructors will be teaching the Stack and Tilt. Until then, if you are interested in learning more, you will find one very comprehensive DVD guide called GetStacked DVD series.

How To Improve Your Golf Swing

Golf Swing Success If you are frustrated with your game or are unhappy with your lack of progress then keep reading because I know how to improve your golf swing. If you have taken lessons, watched golf swing DVD instructional videos, or read every how to improve your golf swing article or book – and you still have not improved or lowered your handicap – then maybe this step by step golf swing guide is for you.

I discovered this golf swing coach that is a regular golfer just like you or me. Jason Ryder had a handicap of 26 and for several years it stayed around the mid 20’s. After taking some lessons and reading some guides he managed to bring it down to 12. Now, a lot of golfers would be happy with a handicap of 12 but Jason wanted to lower it even more.

Today, Jason is a scratch golfer and now he is going to show you how to improve your golf swing so that you too can lower your handicap. You see, what Jason did was to investigate the golf swing by interviewing many top professional golfers and coaches. He wanted to know what secret they had to consistently and effortlessly hit the ball straight down the fairway.

Fix A Slice And Hit A Golf Ball Straight Every Time

Many golfers that are hooking or slicing the ball want to know how to hit a golf ball straight. Obviously this is the desired flight path that we are all looking to achieve as it gives you maximum distance. Also, when you can hit a golf ball straight down the middle of the fairway, you have a much easier approach shot to the green.

So why do so many golfers struggle to hit a golf ball straight? First, we have to understand why the golf ball moves to the right (a slice) or to the left (a hook). After you have learned how to fix a slice or a hook, you can then move on to how to hit a draw (a controlled shot that moves to the left) and how to hit a fade (a controlled shot that moves to the right.)

In order to keep this article short, I will describe what causes the slice and how to cure a slice; for the hook, the description and cure are the opposite of a slice. When the golf ball has a significant tilt of the spin axis to the right or in a clockwise direction, a slice will occur. With a slice, the ball ends up to the right of where you are aiming and the phrase is used when the flight of the ball is acute or inadvertent. The less severe version of the slice is called a “fade.”

When you understand the basics of the golf swing you will know that you have to return to the original place at impact if you want to hit the ball squarely and straight. When the club face is open at the point of impact, a slice will occur and the ball will spin in a clockwise direction. Generally, the swing path is correct but the golf ball is not hit squarely at impact; this is normally caused by a “weak grip.”

Fix A Slice The Dave Way

If you want to fix a slice that is really making your golfing experience miserable, then read on. There is an easy way to fix a slice that doesn’t involve spending a fortune on professional golf lessons. You don’t have to buy the latest anti-slice golf clubs or expensive swing training aid either.

It amazes me that many golfers struggle for years trying to fix a slice on their own, or worse, they continue playing with their slice without trying to do anything about it. I know all about it; as a youngster I had a terrible slice and I tried everything to try and fix it – on my own.

Back then, there wasn’t the easy access to information as there is today, so I took several golf lessons with my Grandfathers club pro and managed to hit a golf ball straight down the middle of the fairway. I don’t know how much it cost my Grandfather, but you don’t have to go down the same road.

There are several eBooks on the internet that can show you very quickly and easily how to fix a slice. I have just finished reviewing the latest guide called Instant Golf Slice Cure by Dave Moore.

There are many more methods, but these 6 are all recommended; it all depends on which method will work for you.

I would like to give you a resume of all 6 methods so that you can compare them side by side. Most of them guarantee you will develop more distance, consistency, and accuracy with your golf swing. Some guarantee that you will lower your handicap by at least 7 strokes. So, what have you got to loose? Just choose the method that you feel more comfortable with and take your game to the next level.

How To Fix A Slice And Hit A Golf Ball Straight

Of course, we all want to hit a golf ball straight down the middle of the fairway. If you know how to fix a slice, then you will be half way there. But if you don’t, then continue reading to find out how.

There are literally hundreds of golf swing instructional guides, but the majority of them are a waste of time and money. At Golf News & Reviews, I don’t have time to review them all, so I hand pick the best ones to tell you about and recommend.

I have reviewed five different golf swing instructional guides, and each one teaches a different method to achieve a perfect golf swing. The guide I am going to review today concentrates on using a simple golf swing. You are about to learn how to hit the ball further, straighter, with more accuracy, fix a slice, achieve a one swing plane, and do it all consistently.

The simple golf swing system is called The Symple Swing and was developed by Joe Davidson. There is another golf swing system that is popular called The Natural Swing. Joe Davidson was a Natural Swing certified instructor, but he realized that there were shortcomings with the system as well as the conventional golf swing. That is why he decided to develop The Symple Swing.

The Proper Way To Swing A Golf Club Is With Your Own Swing

There have been many theories written about the proper way to swing a golf club, most of them too technical in nature for the average golfer to understand. Most of the golf swing guides are written by golf professionals and are full of complicated golf jargon.

Most of these guides try to get the golfer to drastically change their swing to that of one that is considered a correct golf swing. Unfortunately, the golf swing is difficult to teach to someone else, so a lot of golfers spend a fortune on golf lessons without seeing any improvements.

That is why it is refreshing to see a golf swing guide written by a golf instructor who realizes that there are no shortcuts to attaining the “correct” golf swing, and if you wanted one you would have to practice for years. His approach is revolutionary in that he teaches how to use your own style and add just a couple of his concepts to your game.

The book is by Mauritz Leen, a fully qualified professional since 1981 and currently holds a Class A membership in the PGA, on three different continents, including Europe, Australia, and Africa. His book The Golf Rascal’s ABC Of Golf is now taking America by storm because it doesn’t focus on improving your swing; it helps improve your score, not by improving your technique, but by helping you understand the concept of each shot and allowing your own unique technique to evolve and mature.
