Review - The Golf Swing Test
We all strive to attain that all elusive perfect golf swing because without at least a decent golf swing, we are never going to improve our golf game. There are many factors that may affect the golf swing; address position, alignment, a poor grip, taking your eyes of the ball, etc. but according to research, it has been found that about 90% of golfers have a problem with their golf swing plane.
When you think about the fact that the average golfer has not lowered their handicap in the last 25 years, even though there has been vast improvements in golf equipment and golf instruction technology, it stands to reason that the problem has always been a fundamental one; a poor golf swing plane.
A poor golf swing plane causes golfers to hit the ball shorter, with less accuracy and less consistency. But there is a solution; Nick Baley, a New Zealand golf professional, has been studying and analyzing the swings of top professionals like Tiger Woods against the swings of amateur golfers and has discovered the one major golf swing difference between them. This one golf swing fault is stopping the average golfer from striking the ball consistently and preventing them from improving their game.
