Golf ball reviews are important because when you look at the manufacturer’s data for their golf balls, you don’t get much information. You might just get the golf ball construction type and some general description, but how do you know if they are the best golf balls for you?
It is essential to know certain facts about the golf balls you are planning to buy so that you get the best golf balls for your game. If you are a beginner, you might want more distance and you probably don’t want a lot of spin. More experienced players know what golf balls they need but they want more information so that they can make a more informed buying decision.
Knowing your strong and weak points is important when choosing the right golf ball; you have to get the right compression and the golf balls spin rate to suit your game. But you need more than the manufacturers description of “good feel” or “more distance.” That is where golf ball reviews come in handy.
Just out on the market is the 2008 Golf Ball Comparison ratings report. There are other golf ball comparisons guides but they are all quite subjective. The golf ball reviews you will find in this report are based on actual data and tests.

With eight courses to choose from, deciding where to tee it up at Pinehurst Golf Resort can seem like a daunting task, but it’s really quite simple. While all of the Pinehurst golf courses are worthwhile (they don’t call it “the American St. Andrews” for nothing), the even-numbered courses, as a group, are the best bets. After No. 2, the Donald Ross masterpiece that hosted the U.S. Open in 1999 and 2005, our first choice would be No. 4, a Tom Fazio design whose every hole offers unique variety, beauty…and challenge. It’s dotted with 180 sand traps, most of which are small pot bunkers clustered near fairway landing areas, at the bends of doglegs, and around the greens. (continued at www.GolfVacationInsider.com)
