In a previous blog posts, I have reviewed the Medicus golf club and the Refiner golf training clubs. Both of these golf swing trainer aids are what are known as hinged swing trainers as they have a hinge that breaks open if there is a fault in your golf swing.
Today I will compare Medicus vs Refiner to show you the differences and the similarities between the two. First, I would like to point out that both products offer excellent quality and also they perform as they are designed to. In other words, they will both help you correct a swing problem.
First up are the hinged swing trainers from Refiner Golf. Not as well known as the Medicus golf club range of golf training clubs, the Refiner deserves more recognition. Refiner Golf concentrates just on their hinged swing trainers while Medicus also has a line of weighted swing trainers and other golf training aids.

I’m starting my Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail vacation in Birmingham at Ross Bridge Resort, then heading south to Lakewood Golf Club on Mobile Bay. Is it worth the price to play both courses at Lakewood or should I go to nearby Magnolia Grove to play its Crossings and Falls courses?Yes, we would recommend playing one of the courses at Magnolia Grove in lieu of playing both at Lakewood. Here’s why:First, you’ll get a nice change of scenery and topography. Second, you’re going to Alabama to play the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, right? Well, neither Robert Trent Jones nor any of his design associates did any of the work at Lakewood, as it wasn’t originally part of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. As with most sports, if you want to get better, you have to practice. Golf is obviously no exception and the old saying holds true - practice makes perfect. Today, I am going to give you some backyard golf practice tips so that you get the most out of your golf practice.
Instead of doing some backyard golf practice, you could go to your local driving range. But the benefits of practicing golf in your backyard are that you can do it everyday for an hour. Obviously you will need some golf practice aids, unless you have a 350 by 50 yard backyard!
So, what do you need to for backyard golf practice? Basically, you will need golf practice mats and golf practice cages or a golf driving net. There are even some people that set their mat and net inside, but you would need a fairly large room for that.
When practicing golf you should take your time with each shot, just like you would on the golf course. Go through your normal pre-shot routine and focus on each shot. If you have a problem with slicing your tee shots, practice with your driver and try to correct the fault.

Of course, we all want to hit a golf ball straight down the middle of the fairway. If you know how to fix a slice, then you will be half way there. But if you don’t, then continue reading to find out how.
There are literally hundreds of golf swing instructional guides, but the majority of them are a waste of time and money. At Golf News & Reviews, I don’t have time to review them all, so I hand pick the best ones to tell you about and recommend.
I have reviewed five different golf swing instructional guides, and each one teaches a different method to achieve a perfect golf swing. The guide I am going to review today concentrates on using a simple golf swing. You are about to learn how to hit the ball further, straighter, with more accuracy, fix a slice, achieve a one swing plane, and do it all consistently.
The simple golf swing system is called The Symple Swing and was developed by Joe Davidson. There is another golf swing system that is popular called The Natural Swing. Joe Davidson was a Natural Swing certified instructor, but he realized that there were shortcomings with the system as well as the conventional golf swing. That is why he decided to develop The Symple Swing.

Senior golfers enjoy golf just as much as any other age group. There are millions of people who have retired and find that they have more time to dedicate to leisure time. Many are taking up the game of golf or are golfers who now have the time to play more golf.
There is a wealth of information available to teach you how to learn golf or to improve certain aspects of your game. But there are no guides dealing with golf instruction for seniors; until now. There is a senior golf instruction guide book called Senior Golfers Guide that aims to address this lack of information.
The guide book was written exclusively for senior golfers after the author was told by several seniors that there were no resources to help them. The author, Frank J. Peter, together with his staff and several qualified golf teaching professionals put together the most comprehensive senior golf instruction guide book available.
