101 Stretching Exercises For Golf

101 Stretches For GolfBy now, you probable realize that I am a fan of being fit for golf. If you work your golf specific muscles you will increase the power of your golf swing and therefore increase your distance. Also, you will have better balance, stamina, and even consistency. A good golf fitness plan also has to include stretching exercises for golf.

It is no good just building up your muscles, you have to have increased flexibility to take advantage of your new power. You need a good range of motion in your hips, back, knees, shoulders, and wrists. If you have tight and restricted muscles you are more likely to injure yourself playing golf.

A lot of the time those poor shots when you pull or push the ball, hit thin or fat shots, or have trouble getting the ball in the air are a result of your body only being able to produce a swing that causes those miss hits; by improving your range of motion you will also improve your golf swing.

Golf Cruise Basics to Know Before Taking Golf Vacations by Sea

Today’s golf vacation tip is devoted to golf cruises and includes a special offer for our readers who may have an interest in this increasingly popular choice for golf vacations around the globe. In some respects, it’s not surprising that cruising is well-suited for golf vacations. Just think about how many of the world’s finest golf courses are located on or near the water. And, having just returned from my own Scotland golf vacation, paying for gas at nearly $8.00 per gallon is not a lot of fun. (continued at www.GolfVacationInsider.com)

Las Vegas Golf Courses to Play When You’re on a Budget

I am taking a Las Vegas golf vacation in November with some frugal friends. We would like to find good Las Vegas Golf Courses to play with green fees between $100-$150 and lenient cancellation policies in case of bad weather. Any recommendations? If your friends were fanatically frugal, they would have urged you to take your Las Vegas golf vacation during the summer months of June-September, when green fees at some Las Vegas golf courses drop by as much as half. Of course, you give some of that back with all the bottled water you have to buy just to stay alive. (continued at www.GolfVacationInsider.com)

Golf Tickets To The 2008 US Open

Are you planning to go and see the 2008 US Open this year? There is still time to secure tickets to the 2008 US Open golf tournament which will be held at Torrey Pines Golf Course, San Diego, California, from the 9th to 15th of June.

The last two majors of the year are The Open at Royal Birkdale in England which will be held from the 17th to the 20th of July. Finally, The PGA will be held at the Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Township, MI, from the 4th to the 10th of August. Also, don’t forget The 2008 Ryder Cup in September which will be held at the Valhalla Golf Club at Louisville, Kentucky.

If you are thinking about going to see any of the major golf tournaments this year, do you know where to buy golf tickets? While searching online I found a few ticket brokers and after researching them, I found one broker that stood out from the rest.

At Ticket Solutions you can buy PGA Tickets to any major golf tournament, from practice rounds, day tickets from Thursday to Sunday, or tickets for the week. The price difference between them all is minimal, but there are other factors to consider. For a start, Ticket Solutions have been in the business of finding tickets to premium events for over 10 years and they are a member of the National Association Of Ticket Brokers.

A New St. Andrews Golf Course to Play on a Scotland Golf Vacation

Next month, the most significant golf course opening, one with global ramifications, will take place. On June 28, 2008, the seventh St. Andrews golf course, The Castle Course, will officially open for public play. When it does, it will be the first championship-style course to become part of “the home of golf” in nearly 100 years.Last week, I had the good fortune of playing this new St. Andrews golf course during a week-long Scotland golf vacation in around the Kingdom of Fife (the peninsula in eastern Scotland where St. Andrews is located). In fact, our group had the distinction of being the first players to receive course books/yardage guides. (continued at www.GolfVacationInsider.com)

Golf Lessons Online Can Significantly Lower Your Score

Personal, Professional Golf Swing Instruction Delivered Weekly!

Have you ever considered taking golf lessons online? There are different ways to improve your golf game, like taking one-on-one golf lessons, group lessons, golf schools, etc., but I have found the method that I prefer. I have found that online golf lessons are the way to go if you want to significantly lower your score.

Many golfers that want to improve their game complain that they can’t afford one-on-one golf lessons or that they don’t have the time to arrange them. These obstacles can be overcome with golf lessons online as they cost considerably less than other types of golf lessons and you can fit them into your schedule whenever you have the time.

One thing you have to consider is the quality of the online golf instruction. There are several options when it comes to choosing online golf lessons and some of them are not worth the money. As a researcher and reviewer of golf equipment and services, I make it my job to hunt down the best golf resources online. I found a couple of options for excellent online golf instruction and I will tell you about the one I consider number one.
