101 Stretching Exercises For Golf
By now, you probable realize that I am a fan of being fit for golf. If you work your golf specific muscles you will increase the power of your golf swing and therefore increase your distance. Also, you will have better balance, stamina, and even consistency. A good golf fitness plan also has to include stretching exercises for golf.
It is no good just building up your muscles, you have to have increased flexibility to take advantage of your new power. You need a good range of motion in your hips, back, knees, shoulders, and wrists. If you have tight and restricted muscles you are more likely to injure yourself playing golf.
A lot of the time those poor shots when you pull or push the ball, hit thin or fat shots, or have trouble getting the ball in the air are a result of your body only being able to produce a swing that causes those miss hits; by improving your range of motion you will also improve your golf swing.
