Golf Training Devices To Help Your Golf Tempo

There are many aspects of the golf swing that you have to get right to perform a perfect swing. Most are relatively easy to learn and get right; golf grip, setup position, ball position, the transition and weight transfer, etc. The one that is not so easy to learn is your golf tempo or golf rhythm.

When you watch the likes of Ernie Els and Tiger Woods swinging their driver, you will have probably noticed their perfect golf tempo – their whole golf swing tempo is just perfect and a thing of beauty to watch. So how do you practice and perfect your golf tempo?

Yes, there are several golf training devices that claim to help you with your golf tempo. After evaluating several of them I have come up with two that really work wonders. You can find these golf training devices separately at many online golf stores but I have found a place that bundles them together with a savings of $10.

The golf tempo combo is called the Ultimate Tour Tempo Training Aid Package.

Fix A Slice And Hit A Golf Ball Straight Every Time

Many golfers that are hooking or slicing the ball want to know how to hit a golf ball straight. Obviously this is the desired flight path that we are all looking to achieve as it gives you maximum distance. Also, when you can hit a golf ball straight down the middle of the fairway, you have a much easier approach shot to the green.

So why do so many golfers struggle to hit a golf ball straight? First, we have to understand why the golf ball moves to the right (a slice) or to the left (a hook). After you have learned how to fix a slice or a hook, you can then move on to how to hit a draw (a controlled shot that moves to the left) and how to hit a fade (a controlled shot that moves to the right.)

In order to keep this article short, I will describe what causes the slice and how to cure a slice; for the hook, the description and cure are the opposite of a slice. When the golf ball has a significant tilt of the spin axis to the right or in a clockwise direction, a slice will occur. With a slice, the ball ends up to the right of where you are aiming and the phrase is used when the flight of the ball is acute or inadvertent. The less severe version of the slice is called a “fade.”

When you understand the basics of the golf swing you will know that you have to return to the original place at impact if you want to hit the ball squarely and straight. When the club face is open at the point of impact, a slice will occur and the ball will spin in a clockwise direction. Generally, the swing path is correct but the golf ball is not hit squarely at impact; this is normally caused by a “weak grip.”

Torrey Pines Golf Course a Worthy Site for U.S. Open and Your San Diego Golf Vacation

One of the reasons the 2002 U.S. Open was so popular was because it was contested on New York’s Bethpage Black, not only a public course but a municipally owned and operated public course. Well, get ready for “The People’s Open - West.” The U.S. Open begins today, and it’s being played on the South eighteen at Torrey Pines Golf Course, owned and operated by the city of San Diego. Together with the North Course, Torrey Pines lays claim to America’s only two municipally owned seaside layouts. (continued at www.GolfVacationInsider.com)

Golf Swing Teaching Aids – The Explanar

Explanar Golf Swing Training SystemThe golf swing is something that needs to be taught, needs to be practiced, and needs to be perfected. Unfortunately, the golf swing is a relatively difficult and, some say, unnatural movement. If you are a beginner going through golf lessons and getting nowhere except more frustrated, then you should consider golf swing teaching aids.

Even the golfer who has been playing for a while and still hasn’t mastered a consistent golf swing should take a look at golf swing teaching aids. The problem is that there are hundreds of golf swing aids available and more come out every month. I must say that a lot of these swing aids are just a gimmick but there are some gems out there.

Today I want to introduce you to one golf swing teaching aid that has impressed me greatly. It is called the Explaner and it is one serious piece of golf training equipment. The Explanar is a complete training system incorporating the swing plane, the biomechanics of the golf swing, and a fitness training aid.

5 Minutes To Improve Your Golf Putting Technique

putting secretsLet me ask you a question: “Are you happy with your golf putting technique?” Surprisingly, many golfers spend a lot of time and money on perfecting their golf swing but don’t invest anything on their putting techniques.

I know, when it comes down to golf practice time, it is a lot more enjoyable to hit a bucket of balls down the driving range than spend an hour on the putting greens. There are so many golf swing guides that can teach you to hit your drives further, straighter, and with more consistency. That’s great, but what is the point of blasting your drive straight down the fairway, get your approach shot onto the middle of the green, only to three putt for a bogey.

When you consider that about half your golf shots are played on the putting greens then you will realize how important the putting game really is. Take a look at your scorecard after your next round and remember how many three putts, four putts, and lip outs from under three feet you had. If you could learn putting techniques that had you consistently two putting and even one putting, then you are talking about dropping 10 shots or more from your score!

What if there was a putting instruction system that could show you how to drop 10 strokes or more and in as little as 5 minutes. Well, that is what Putting Secrets Revealed can do for you. Think about it; you can recover from a poor drive with a good iron shot; a poor iron shot with a good chip shot; a duffed chip shot with a good putt – but you can’t recover from a missed putt.
