4 New Secrets Of How To Swing A Golf Club Perfectly

posted in Golf Swing |

It seams amazing that there are as many theories for the perfect golf swing as there are golf swing instructors. Where does all the confusion come from? Well, about one hundred years ago, there was no high speed photography or moving pictures to help analyze the mechanics of the golf swing. Instructors had to rely on the naked eye to try and analyze certain swing faults, and as a result, there was a lot of guessing and rationalizing.

Therefore, there have been a lot of misplaced ideas spread about the proper swing principles that have been taken as fact for nearly one hundred years. Now, thanks to the knowledge of the biomechanics of the golf swing through scientific analysis, new swing techniques have developed and been put forth as “secrets” of how to swing a golf club.

I have just finished reading a book called The New Four Magic Moves by Andy Brown, Joe Dante and Len Elliot. I was amazed to learn in the book, that there are indeed four “magic” moves that will dramatically cut strokes off your handicap.

They first go over how you must wipe the board clean and start anew, and continue with the most important part; eliminating errors. As they point out, it is not a succession of great shots that make for a good round of golf; it is the elimination of errors that produces results. When you think about it, one error of the tee that puts you out of bounds or in the water can cost you up to three or four shots - just one error!

They go through, one by one, the most prevalent of the classic fallacies that cause the most damage in the golf swing. Fallacies like; use a light grip, pause at the top of the backswing, start down with a pull of the left arm, have the face open at the top, etc.

Now starts the meaty part of the book, when they go into detail about every aspect of how to hit a golf club properly. They start with the proper grip and stance; the grip determines the position of the clubface, and the stance influences the path of the club head. Get those basics wrong and you will have slices, hooks, smothered, or skied shots.

The swing is then broken down into four chapters; the backswing, at the top, starting down, and through the ball. Each part shows you what not to do and more importantly you will learn the “magic move” that you have to do on each part of the swing - moves that will definitely improve your distance, accuracy, and consistency - resulting in a drop of 7 - 12 shots off your handicap.

The book finishes with a guide to the perfect short game; pitching, chipping, putting, and bunker shots. Also, the last chapter goes into the mental game of golf - a side of golf that is sadly lacking in most instruction methods.

Included in the downloadable book are 5 hours of MP3 audio, so that you can learn more while on the move or relaxing at home. You also get 3 bonus books on golf fitness training, putting, and a rules guide to cutting strokes - you also get lifetime updates to the book.

Even though the book is well written and includes numerous illustrations to show all the important positions, there is the option of getting The New Four Magic Moves in DVD so that you can watch everything described in slow motion - well worth it.

This is one golf swing guide that I have no hesitation in recommending, it truly does give you 4 new techniques that go beyond traditional instruction that will definitely take your game to a new level. Go and check out The New Four Magic Moves today and learn how to swing a golf club perfectly.
